17/18 Month Update:
1. You started nodding your head when you say yes, it's so funny.
2. You ask to put lotion on like 3x a day, you are such a girly girl. You run into my room and know exactly where it is and say, "lowsh, lowsh!"
3. You've become quite the daddy's girl and run straight to the door when he gets home from work.
4. When we ask you what your name is you say, "Abba Schauby!"
5. I got you your own set of make up brushes and you love them.
6. You catch onto words very easily and will repeat what we say.
7. When you say "hi" or "bye" you like to whisper it.
8. You always want me or Dad to come and sit in your princess tent with you.
9. We had to admit you to the hospital on 2/2/13 bc you had a severe case of RSV.
10. We hit a huge mile stone with you and ever since coming home from the hospital you will now put yourself to sleep at nights which is crazy because I would always have to hold you before and wait til you fell asleep and then put you down. You don't even put up a fuss. I give you your "mimi's" (milk), your bear and then put your blankets on you and you put yourself to sleep quietly.
11. You now will take your crayons and draw on the walls.
12. Some of the words you say are: cookie, cracker, star, moon, baby, socks, shoes, car, cheese, juice, Char Char (Charlotte), up, jump, Minnie, and fishy.
13. You are obsessed with dipping your food in some type of sauce, you especially love ranch.
14. When I took you to your 18 mo check up appt the Dr had you do certain exercises to test your motor and communication skills and you were able to complete all of them and even more. You were able to tell her your name too. Afterwards you took her stethoscope and knew to put it on your heart. She complimented you and said that you are very smart for your age and that she knew 3 year olds who didn't even know their name yet.
15. You have a numbers book that Grandma Schaub gave you and you can go through the book and point out what is on all the pages.
16. You were finally feeling well enough that we took you to nursery for the first time on 2/24/13, but you only went to the last hour because Dad was too sad to let you go to the first hour too! Your leaders Kali Marzley and Corbyn Rowden said you did so well and followed all the the other kids and listened to their directions when it was story time.
17. You like to sneak up behind me and Dad and try to tickle us.
18. It's the cutest thing, you pump your fist up and down and say "choo choo" when I ask you what a train does.
19. You like to stick your fist out to people and "pound it" and give them knuckles.
20. One day Dad was folding his laundry and you wanted to help so bad. You would shake out the shirts just like him and then fold them into a ball and lay it on his folded pile.
21. One day I was sneezing and afterward you said, "Bess Ewwwww Mommy!"
