Annabelle: 1 Year Stats

What you've been up to...

1. You are Dad's shadow, you follow him everywhere now and cry when he leaves the room.

2. You know how to clap your hands.

3. You dance all the time  it's so cute because you move your head back and forth

4. You can blow kisses

5. You are starting to walk so fast!

6. You are starting to understand when I give you directions

7. I will put stuffed animals in your shirt and you will leave them in there and walk around with them

8. You will play toys with mom and dad, you love to chase things then bring them back to us

9. You got the worst diaper rash ever and wouldn't even let us wipe your bum, we had to rinse you in the tub and give you baking soda baths. We even concocted our own magic butt paste to put on you along with some prescription nystatin cream. After letting you run around nakie and being diligent about applying all these creams it finally went away after a week.

10. You love to wear shoes now and if I take them off you bring them back to me to put on

11. When we are at church you love to play peek-a-boo in the curtains in the Sunday school and relief society rooms

12. You are starting to do your squint eye look at everyone who will play along with you and when Mommy tells you "no" you squint at her

13. You like to just hang out, play and sit in your bumbo

14. You think you are so strong and try to lift everything, even my 5 lb weights

15. You like to open and shut doors over and over again

16. Anything that has a bottle top you love to try and twist off, this entertains you and usually puts you to sleep

17. Dad finally put in cabinet locks in the kitchen cupboards so you can't get into everything

18. You love to carry around mom and dads shoes and pull at the laces

19. Dad says, "make her hair like an onion head!" which translates to put her hair in a ponytail on top of her head

20. You like to play with Mommy and Daddy's belly buttons

21. When I am done changing your diaper you follow my directions and throw it in the trash all on your own
