Annabelle's 1st Birthday Bash

Our little Annabear turned 1 and we were so excited to shower her with loves and kisses on her special day! We had a small birthday bash for you in Kingman on your actual birthday. {August 13th} 

Our good friends the Adams and Fairbanks were able to celebrate with us. 

Your birthday outfit, tutu courtesy of your Auntie Tara!  Makes me sad that you've lost all that baby chub! You were rockin' it and loved playing with the ribbons on your skirt.

I made you a strawberry cake with this yummy cream cheese/whip cream frosting.  

You didn't make as big of a mess as I thought you would have!  

Do I really have a 1 year old daughter???

You had fun opening your presents and of course loved the sound of all the tissue paper. Rachael and Scott Adams got your some pink glitter shoes and some black ones too.  

The Fairbanks got  you this really pretty pink leopard printed shirt and pants outfit.  

Then we gave you a purse because you love to carry things around and a little toy cell phone.

 You were the BIRTHDAY Lion Queen for the day and soaked up all the attention!

MESA BIRTHDAY BASH: 

 I printed pics of you for each month of your age and hung them up with some clothes pins and then found some cute pink decorations at Party City. We celebrated at your Grandma Schaub's house and Grandma Shaver made her famous one-of-a-kind pizza for everyone. 

Grandma Shaver also made you a new pink birthday bubble dress 

to wear for your special occasion. 

 It was so fun to have your Auntie Nicki and Uncle Peter there to party with us.

It was special that we got to have Tutu there to be with us on your birthday, she had come down from Texas for Megan's wedding and was able to stay for your party.  

She is your Great Grandma and we all just love her to pieces!

Due to the big amount of left over cake we had from Megan's wedding we decided to just use one of those as your birthday cake and it worked out perfect and tasted yummy! After the stress of the wedding we didn't want Grandma Schaub to have to make more cake so she 

just wrote on this one for ya and it worked out perfect. 

You were spoiled even more at your party in Mesa with all the presents from your aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents!  You received lots of toys which is what we needed

 because we didn't have many for you at the house. Now our living room has turned into a toy room!
Some of your favorite toys are the shopping cart that Uncle Ryan and Rachelle got for you, and a pink princess tent/castle from your Shaver Aunts.  Dad and I got you this big potato head which inside
included 2 smaller potato heads...we knew you would love this toy because you
could put on and take out all the body parts!
You love to study and figure out things and how they work.

We are so very thankful that we are the ones who get to be your parents and the ones to be able to learn and grow with you.  This 1st year has been full of love, laughter, challenges, learning and memorable times.  Your Dad and I feel so blessed every single day that we get to raise you. Thank you for bringing such joy into our home, we were so bored without you!  We love you with our whole hearts and hope that you will keep your sweetness and pure spirit as you grow older. Can't wait to blow out more candles with you in the future AnnaB!
